I don’t like the Willow/Kennedy pairing. Willow gained so much independence and came so much into her own when she was with Tara. She didn’t need anyone but she wanted Tara in her life. Kennedy is just too spoiled and controlling and killed all of the character development that Willow had made.

Xander was supposed to be the gay character and Spike was supposed to be his dirty little secret in the basement. They were supposed to have endless hate sex and hide it from everybody because they were ashamed of each other. However, Seth Green left the show and the writers decided to make Willow gay. Joss loved the endless hate sex storyline so much he saved it for Spike/Buffy in S6.

It’s funny I’ve heard rumors that there WAS talk about making Xander gay. I often wonder how different the rest of the show would have been had they gone down that path.

Don’t get me wrong I adore Willow/Tara! But ya know… just pondering.

I kinda wish this was real. I know it’s not (well the part where Xander was originally considered as being the one who comes out as gay is actually true but the rest of this is made up), but I kinda wish it was and that it would’ve happened. I love the show as is but part of me REALLY wishes Spander was canon and Oz had never left and would’ve stayed with Willow. Not that I don’t love Tara because I do, but damn…lol

I adored Tara and actually thought her sweetness was her strength which she helped others with, Willow took advantage of her for her own happiness.

I partially agree.  There are a few moments where Willow abuses their relationship, but I hate the fact that people side with Willow and kick Tara out of the house.  Although, I think Willow isn’t always selfish, she had a rough moment in her life as we all do.

What are you talking about? Nobody sided with Willow and kicked Tara out. Everyone wanted Tara to stay, that’s why Willow and Dawn were both so upset while she was packing. But Tara threatened to leave if Willow didn’t change and was making good on her threat to show she was serious and wasn’t going to allow Willow to continue taking advantage of her. It was her choice to leave and it was a good choice I think. She probably actually moved out for two reasons: one because it was her that was doing the breaking up and therefore since it wasn’t Willow’s idea to break up, she shouldn’t have to move and it’s not Tara’s place to kick her out so if she wants to leave then she should be the one who actually leaves; and two, because she might have felt if she were to break up with Willow that she had less claim to the house or something, because I get the feeling that Tara never really felt like a full member of the group, even after she was one. It was right for her to be the one to move out, not Willow. And the reason why she didn’t stay there after they were broken up was to show how serious she was and that it wasn’t going to just blow over. If anything, everyone sided with Tara because she was right and everyone tried to get Willow to calm down with the magic. But nobody kicked Tara out, where did you even get that from? But anyways, I agree with the confession for the most part.
